Advocate4Daniel will soon be accepting scholarship applications for the year 2024. 

Applicants must be a senior at Pine Bluff High School in Arkansas and an active member of the Pine Bluff High School Band. Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor degree at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and accepted into the Marching Musical Machine of the Midsouth .

Meet Daniel

Daniel Bearden Jr. was born on 5 December 1994 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

Early Life

As a very young age, Daniel could often be found going from room to room drumming with pencils, chopsticks or anything he could find to make music. The sound that resonated was not noise, it was music. This talent was noticed and nourished. At the age of five, his mother purchased a full drum set for him and secured private music lessons. His brother and sister also recognized that Daniel had something special.
